FAQ Guide

common questions

about your journey

We've gathered the questions we hear most often about our facility,

the Scholarship Program, travel, and what to expect before your journey begins.

What makes the facility different from a traditional Western hospital?

The facility takes a whole-person approach to healing. Rather than focusing on a single diagnosis, the care team considers physical health, nutrition, lifestyle, emotional well-being, rest, and the body's natural ability to heal when developing an individualized care plan.

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is a traditional system of medicine that focuses on restoring balance within the body using individualized treatments that may include herbal medicines, therapeutic oils, specialized therapies, nutrition, and lifestyle recommendations.

How is my care plan determined?- or- Can my case be reviewed before I travel?

Each patient receives an individualized assessment upon arrival. Medical records are helpful, but practitioners also conduct their own evaluation using Ayurvedic principles.

Is this care intended to cure my condition? -or- Will this treatment cure my condition?

Not always. The hospital is transparent about what they believe they can and cannot help. Some conditions may improve significantly, while others may experience symptom relief and improved quality of life rather than a cure.
